On Tuesday, May 24th, 2022, at 7:00 pm in the Philip’s Paolella, Jr. Recreation Center, Honors Convocation was held. Honors Convocation is a ceremony where students are recognized for various accomplishments and leadership at Sacred Heart. Freshmen, sophomores, and seniors were presented their Connecticut Science Fair Awards. National Language Exam awards are given in French, Spanish, and Latin to students from every grade. This year, since so many students do well on the exam, it was decided that honorable mentions on the exam would be not be included during the ceremony, only those that medaled. Furthermore, a sophomore was presented the opportunity to attend the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference. Juniors invited to Honors Convocation were presented an array of book awards, along with medals from colleges. Also, a junior and senior were given the SAR Good Citizen Award.
